The new smashing pumpkin weighed 1,457 lbs (around 660kgs).

The record-breaking pumpkin took 129 days to grow and was weighed using a special winch device at the Annual Pumpkin Show in Netley, near Southampton, Hants,

The Patons used a trailer pulled by a Volvo estate car to transport their giant vegetable to the show at Netley’s Royal Victoria Country Park where it was weighed in front of witnesses.

It was planted in a greenhouse in April and needed one and a half tonnes of manure to reach its current size.

She is not saddled down with a mortgage or skyrocketing utility bills. When she gets tired of the view, from outside her window, she can move and take her house with her.

It cost Dee $10,000 to build her 83 square foot house, which in comparison is smaller than the average parking space. Many of the construction materials she used came from the salvage yard. Because of the use of solar panels, Dee’s highest winter heating bill is roughly $6.

It’s approximately two steps from the bathroom to the kitchen and two steps up to get to her bedroom. It’s probably not the best place to entertain guests, but Dee and her dog seem to do just fine on their own.

She was recently found wandering, make that WADDLING, the streets of New Jersey and will soon be placed in a new home…should her previous owner fail to claim her. There are already several loving families that have expressed interest in adopting her.

The Princess is currently staying with a shelter volunteer and will be making her TV debut, on Live with Regis and Kelly, in a few days. (No doubt they are wondering how anyone could lose a feline that size.)

The Guinness Book of World Records no longer has a ‘fat cat’ category; for fear that unscrupulous owners might somehow harm their cats in attempt to them larger. However, the previous record owner was an Australian cat who weighed almost 47 pounds.

Yes, you can purchase ready-made mailboxes that are somewhat artistic. If you drive along a country road, chances are you will see at least one tractor shaped box. During the holidays it is not uncommon to see Santa, perched upon a mailbox, as well.

Unfortunately, I’m not creative enough to build much more than a basic structure. Yes, it’s sad but true and honestly I deal with it as best I can. :) It’s a good thing that the people at Lego have not had to count on me, for their livelihood.

Thank God, for Reverend Stuart Dornfeld… no pun intended. He has created the most amazing Lego church, I have ever seen. What makes it even more special is the fact that it is a replica of his own church, Emanuel Lutheran, located in Brandon Wisconsin.

The church is constructed for more than 12,000 Legos. It took the Reverend approximately 6 months to build it. This nifty building measures 24 x 48 x 17 and features two pianos, an organ, 15 stained-glass windows and 30 pews. (Some of the parishioners include: Batman, SpongeBob and Indiana Jones.)
