Princess Chunk
July 29, 2008 – 9:24 pmPrincess Chunk is a whole ‘lotta cat. 44 pounds of cat, to be exact. She was recently found wandering, make that WADDLING, the streets of New Jersey and will soon be placed in a new home…should her previous owner fail to claim her. There are already several loving families that have expressed interest in adopting her.
The Princess is currently staying with a shelter volunteer and will be making her TV debut, on Live with Regis and Kelly, in a few days. (No doubt they are wondering how anyone could lose a feline that size.)
The Guinness Book of World Records no longer has a ‘fat cat’ category; for fear that unscrupulous owners might somehow harm their cats in attempt to them larger. However, the previous record owner was an Australian cat who weighed almost 47 pounds.
