A study conducted by the International Dairy Foods Association reported that Americans eat more ice cream than anyone else… on average 8 pints, per year, per person.
You might think that those living in a warm climate state, such as Hawaii or California, eat the most ice cream. But in reality, Nebraskans eat the more ice cream than people in any other state.
As you can probably guess, vanilla is the most popular flavor. Chocolate comes in second.
You can make ice cream at home, very easily, without a costly ice cream maker. The following video will show you how you can make ice cream in a bag. This is a great project for younger kids, who can get as creative as they want to be in regard to flavors.
